OUR VALUES &

STORY

Kathy Kraus Jewellery celebrates individuality and connection through creativity.

Distinctive design requires time and care not mass-production.

At the foundation of Kathy Kraus Jewellery is a responsible jewellery practice with the aim to reduce the environmental footprint wherever possible.

RESPONSIBLE

DESIGN

The slow fashion approach allows for careful consideration at every step in the process.

From working with a small network of trusted craftspeople and supporting local production to hand picking each gemstone by hand. No cutting corners for the sake of commerce.

All jewels are made exclusively with recycled or reclaimed metals.

Katharina remains committed to finding responsible solutions across the whole supply chain and to encourage social responsibility in the jewellery community.

A DIFFERENT

APPROACH

“There became a disconnect with what I was producing through my younger years of learning jewellery making techniques. So I decided to study Design with a focus on jewellery in London.

This was the missing puzzle piece, because it was all about what a piece would look like and why it is relevant. It made me fall back in love with jewellery and now I approach jewellery at a much broader scale.”

INSPIRED BY

SUNLIGHT

Katharina’s gemstone centred aesthetic has evolved from delicate wirework set with tiny garnets and sapphires, to the colourful custom-cut gemstones she is now known for.

She finds inspiration in the moment bright sunlight is reflected on a tall building and the angled shadows of a narrow street in the late afternoon.

Her jewels are thoughtful gemstone arrangements, from hand-carved grey agate with a deep golden shimmer, to iridescent blue labradorite and rainbow-like moonstone.
